In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Construction Technology Education Center establishes and discloses the following personal information processing guidelines to protect the personal information of the information subject and to quickly and smoothly deal with related grievances. This policy applies to all personal information files processed by the institute unless otherwise specified.
KICTE does not collect personal information unless you choose to provide that information through email, or other correspondence. KICTE may also collect specific information on computer hardware and software such as users’ IP addresses, type of browsers, and time of access. This information is used in order to manage KICTE website, increase the service quality, and make general statistics about KICTE users.
KICTE does not expose user’s personal information to the third parties or other organizations. But KICTE can release it if forced by legal procedures, or in case of urgent circumstances for protecting the public safety. KICTE periodically sends non-commercial news of the contents by e-mail. Users can opt not to receive these news by displaying refusals.
While you take a service from KICTE, KICTE keeps your personal information and uses it for providing better service. But if you request to discard your personal information, then KICTE will immediately remove your information from its hard disks. KICTE will be unable to see or use it in any way.
KICTE does not share the information of the children under the age of 14 with anyone or send commercial e-mail to them. If a legal representative of a child under the age of 14 requests KICTE to see or correct children’s personal information, or withdraw the consent, then KICTE will respond immediately.
